How chilly will my wife and I be on a boat in the Greek Isles in the middle of October?

The wife are considering a small sized cruise Oct 9-16 but we are concerned about the weather being too chilly to enjoy sunbathing on the boat and on the islands. Any thoughts or personal experiences?

For that time, I would recommend you to sail around the Dodecanese. Storms are likely to happen during that period, so I would stay away from the Cyclades. In the Dodecanese, the weather is still warm enough to sunbathe during daytime, count on about 24C. At night it will get pretty cold though, take a good winter jacket and fleece and a good down sleeping bag. The water will be a bit chilly but if you're a bit tough it will be ok.How chilly will my wife and I be on a boat in the Greek Isles in the middle of October?
@kenefi.....

have you ever been to Crete.......? d'oh.....!!!

dont talk if you dont know.....

they will be cruising, and not in prohibited land mines......

cyprus is a great place, with friendly and helpful people......

that is for the Greek side.....

turks have invaded and hold half of cyprus, but the last decade, there havent been any clashes.......

@soultanidis...

how do you know.....? huh? dont be silly..........

ethiopian greeko......? LoL......
Avoid Crete cause of civil war and casualties;

avoid Zante cause of land mines;

avoid Cyprus cause of often Greek-Turk clashes.

The rest is quite and peaceful.
its nice that time of year just bring a light wind breaker :) not too hot not cold its cool but still enough to sun bathe just gets a lil breezy
In October in Greece riots are expected.
