TDY and PCS! How does it work?

I am in the Army going on 4 years now. I have been pinned 5 and now came down on DA roster for Recruiting. I've been at the same duty station since AIT and met my wife here. I am worried about how PCS and TDY will occur. Not too sure of how it works either, or how or what would be the best way to do it. Can someone help please? ThanksTDY and PCS! How does it work?
The Recruiting School is at Fort Jackson. You will receive TDY orders for that school, where you will attend for six weeks. While there, you will choose three Recruiting Battalions where you would like to get assigned. They generally will pick one of those three. Exceptions are some battalions need you to be E-6 or above, due to the higher cost of living (Los Angeles Battalion was one of those, back in the day).





Once you graduate from the school, you will receive orders to your new Recruiting Battalion and be assigned a Station. You will then have Transportation arrange for your household goods to be shipped, and you will make whatever arrangements to get there on your own. You will receive whatever costs are necessary for the trip, either in advance or afterward.
