Honestly, I would convince her to leave the person, faking a miscarriage probably isn't the best answer. You definately don't want that man around any child or woman especially a pregnant one. Please talk her into leaving him and seeking refuge with parents or friends. She will realise this is the best decision once she has left the environment. She needs a plan. She needs people to help her carry out her plan and she needs the opportunity. when he leaves she needs to pack in a matter of minutes and someone pick her up and seek refuge at a shelter.
Or have the police help her gather her belongings while he is gone and leave. Thats the type of relationship we see on tv that a prego woman has been murdered by the babys father. She needs to leave he is a ticking time bomb
